Process server fees: what our flat price includes, and what many servers charge extra for
Process server fees only mean something if you know what they cover. Here is what sits inside Rose City's flat price ($140 in Windsor; other areas are in the price table), next to the extras that often appear on other invoices. No competitor is named; the figures are typical published charges.

For US law firms
Serving a US case in Windsor-Essex
We serve in Windsor and Essex County, Ontario, for US cases. Canada has declared no opposition to Article 10 of the Hague Service Convention, which covers service directly through competent persons in Canada, such as a process server. On request we complete your court's proof of service form (for example California POS-010) alongside our sworn Affidavit of Service. Prices are the same flat rates; tax is shown at checkout. Pay by card online, charged in Canadian dollars. Firms with a Canadian bank account can also use Interac e-Transfer. Each area's rate is in the price table.

- Is the mailed second copy included when the papers are left with an adult at the home, or is it billed as secondary mail?
- How many attempts are in the price, and what does each extra attempt cost?
- How many pages are printed free, and what is the per-page rate after that?
- Is mileage charged, and from where?
- Who swears the Affidavit of Service, and is it included?
