About Rose City Process Servers
A Windsor-based, Ontario-registered business that serves court and legal documents across Windsor and Essex County, owned and run by Trevor Byrne.
Who runs Rose City Process Servers
Rose City Process Servers is a Windsor business owned and run by Trevor Byrne. It is registered with the Government of Ontario as a sole proprietorship (Business Identification Number 1001679257, registered July 16, 2026) and is registered for GST/HST (765781372RT0001). The name comes from Windsor's nickname, the Rose City.
We are a local, service-area business: there is no storefront to visit, because the work happens at the recipient's door and by phone and email with you. Our mailing area is Windsor, ON N9A 6V7.
What we do
We deliver court and legal documents to the people named in them, across Windsor and Essex County, and swear an Affidavit of Service to prove it. Right now Trevor handles files himself, from the first call to the sworn affidavit, which is why you get a straight answer when you call.
- Personal service of court documents
- Small Claims Court documents and family court documents
- Landlord and Tenant Board notices
- Rush and same-day serves
- Court filing and document retrieval at the Windsor courthouse
How we work
- Flat prices, published. $140 in Windsor, with the rate for every other area in the price table. Mileage, three attempts, printing of 2 copies (25 pages each) and the mailed copy included. You know the price before we start.
- A record of every attempt. Each attempt is logged with the time, the GPS location and a photo, and you get an email after every one.
- Proper proof. The person who made the serve swears the Affidavit of Service before a commissioner, in the form your court uses.
- Privacy. Your documents are used only to do the job. See our privacy policy and terms of service.
- Hours. Call, text or order online any time: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Serve attempts themselves are made at sensible hours for the person being served, not in the middle of the night.
What we do not do
- We are not lawyers or paralegals and do not give legal advice, draft documents or fill out forms.
- We do not trace or locate people. Skip tracing is licensed private investigator work in Ontario.
- We are not part of any court or government office.
